I’m a writer and a connector who enjoys bringing ideas to life to make good things happen. Using my skills for ‘good’ is what I love most. I also love the power of words. When shaped together in just the right way words influence how we feel and respond.
Having worked in communications for 25+ years, writing has always been central to my work. I’ve worked in the public sector, private sector, for community organisations and not-for-profits. I am experienced at tailoring messages across diverse channels to reach target audiences.
Manu Rere Communications ‘manu’ bird, ‘rere’ to fly was born out of a desire to connect and share stories – just like the pīwakawaka when it flits through the ngāhere (forest) - a small and purposeful forest messenger.
